Ironman Korea or maybe Wisconsin…
I’m known for having an odd twitch…whether it’s relocating to China, starting a company just after undergrad or deciding that a Harley was agreat addition to my toy box, friends and family are convinced that I’m a bit ‘off’. So sure, I’m a bit off-center which is why it comes as no surprise that after 1 triathlon, I began considering Ironman Korea in 2008. “Why Korea?” you ask. Go big or go home – it sounded like a fabulous idea last week but luckily I came to my senses before I wasted a bunch of time and money. Instead I’m going to try for Wisconsin which is open for registration on Monday. US Ironman’s usually sell out within hours of opening, so with a little luck I’ll be able to register. Now the only question is whether I wait for the online registration at 11AM or drive to Madison for the 9AM registration onsite…
